Borghild Krane

Borghild Krane (1906–1997) wrote the probably first Norwegian novel that openly describes lesbian love: Følelsers forvirring (1937).

Rolf Løvaas

Rolf Løvaas (1923-1996) was one of the pioneers of the Norwegian gay movement, and was the first chairman of Det Norske Forbundet av 1948.

Karen-Christine (Kim) Friele

Karen-Christine Friele has been a central activist in the Norwegian gay rights movement since 1963.

Gro Lindstad

Lindstad was the first leader of LLH, from its establishment in 1992, until 1998.
