Alf Martin Jæger

In 1924, for the first time in Norwegian literary history, the protagonist’s sexual orientation is the central theme of a novel.

"De homofile"

Finn Carling (1925–2004) wrote one of the very first Norwegian books about homosexuality: "The Homosexuals. A Sketch of a Closed Existence."

Borghild Krane

Borghild Krane (1906–1997) wrote the probably first Norwegian novel that openly describes lesbian love: Følelsers forvirring (1937).
